leave a comment »

Gerad Punch signed a contract with semi finalist de Friesland Aris from Leeuwarden today. The Furman alumni played for T71 Dudelange last year for a short period. The guard/forward knows the dutch league very well since he already played for Landstede Zwolle for two years in the seasons 2007/2008 and 2008/2009. Gerad is a very athletic and physical strong player that has made a very good impression on coach Pete Miller because he practiced with the team from Leeuwarden for some time last year. The experience, athleticism , defensive toughness and scoring ability of Gerad will help de Friesland Aris strengthen their program.
